These days are exciting times for Memphis Elite- Daniels players.
Out of 4 2012 seniors, 3 have verbally committed to be student /athletes at various Universities.
Below are the players:
Danielle Ballard (Memphis Central) verbals to Louisiana State University.
She considered offers from Memphis, Ole Miss, Rutgers, UCLA, Auburn, Miami, Syracuse, Duke and others.
Alicia "Red" Payne (White Station) verbals to University Tennessee Chattanooga
She considered offers from Troy University, East Tenn. State, Southeast Missouri State
Lauren Douglas (Briarcrest) verbals to Northwestern University.
She considered offers from Memphis, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Miami, Depaul, Marquette, Virgina and others.
One left to commit is Destiny James (Bartlett) which she has a official visit set up on Sept. 16th.
She will be an awesome pickup for a program! Stay Tuned.
Destiny James committed to Coach Watts and the Jacksonville State Lady Gamecocks on her official visit this past weekend during their homecoming festivities. Destiny stated "it just felt right and it felt like I already knew the coaches and players".
