White Station's Alicia Payne commits to Chattanooga

White Station point guard Alicia “Red” Payne has committed to play women's basketball at Chattanooga.

She averaged 3.85 assists and over three steals a game in helping the Spartans to a 25-3 regular-season record last season and a 11-1 mark in District 16-AAA.

Payne, who plays on the Memphis Elite-Daniels AAU team, also considered Troy University and East Tennessee State.

Payne said, “I decided on U.T. Chattanooga because of the excitement around the program, what the coaching staff and players believe we can do during my four years.”
